You know those mornings when, on one hand, a fluffy stack of waffles sounds delicious, but on the other hand, you could really go for a cheesy omelette?

Try this twist on a low-carb waffle for a cheesy, savory alternative that still satisfies the breakfast pastry craving!
½ cup almond flour
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ cup heavy cream
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ jalapeño, chopped
¼ tsp cumin
Mix all the ingredients together to form a batter. I recommend heating your waffle iron to one setting hotter than you use for typical waffles to make sure the cheese toasts nicely. Pour batter onto heated waffle iron as you would with typical waffle/pancake batter.
Hot sauce is fantastic on top of these! Makes 2-3 waffles.
